Description

Gift with warranty from Robert son and heir of Richard de Balscote of Hulle to Robert le Bounde of Radeweye, of one selion of land, namely one headland with appurtenances in Hulle within the manor of Stonleye, situate in length between the land of the Abbot of Stonleye and the furlong called Le Brech on the other side; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: John Campion, Philip de Hulle, William Rudde, Richard de Daddele, Adam de Holyes, Henry le Yonge, Richard Godbody and others. Dated at Stonleye, Thursday in the feast of St. Matthew the Apostle, 14 Edward III. Seal on tag: circular, red. A lion beneath two sprays of foliage surmounted by a man's head.
