Description

Release, lease absent, the release being a conveyance, from Loveisgod Gregory of Stevinghall alias Stivechall, esq., to Thomas Lord Leigh Baron of Stoneleigh, in performance of Articles of agreement dated 4 December last between the said parties, of two water mills under the roof, one being a fulling mill and the other a grist mill, called Pipe Mills or Pipes Mills situate in Stoneleigh with appurtenances, water courses, swan walks, pools, fishings, etc. and also the fishing between Port Bridge and Woosly Bridge in Stoneleigh, with all alders and wood on the bank of the river there; also two closes called respectively Baldwins Grove and Robb Croft adjoining to the said Mills and enjoyed therewith, also half an acre of Alder Ground adjoining the dam head, together with all tithes coming therefrom; all which premises are situate in Stoneleigh, Finham and Kingshill and are in several occupations of Loveisgod Gregory, Christopher Grissold and John Gamble.
