Copy of the discharge of Prudence Gregory, widow, defendant, in respect of certain charges claimed by John Bowater, plaintiff, for tithe herbage, alleging that the 32 pounds computed for the said tithe by John Bowater for Park Field should really be £18. 8s. 0d. and that the tenants of Parkfield, Abraham Dry, Richard Griswell, John Welton, Thomas Welton and Prudence Gregory had offered to pay more tithe than was due from the proportion of land which they held (details given) but nothing was demanded; and also alleging that the 18 pounds computed for tithe herbage of sixty acres of enclosed lands belonging to Mrs. Gregory should only be 8 pounds, and that the 18 pounds computed for the same of sixty acres of enclosed lands in Stivichall belonging to Richard Griswell should only be 6 pounds.
