Description

Lease with warranty from the Abbot and Convent of Stonleye to John de Styvichale and Amice his first wife and Thomas, their firstborn son, of a moiety of that place in Hull' not built upon (non edificatam) which they had by the gift of Richard de Hulle; to hold the same of the said abbot for their lives, paying yearly 30 pence at the four terms of the year accustomed in the manor of Stonl' for all service save foreign service, with a heriot on the death of any one of them, and with reversion to the said abbot at the end of the said term. Witnesses: Henry de Fynham, John of the same, Elia de Hull', Thomas son of Henry of the same. Thomas son of Nicholas of the same, and others. Seal on tag, a pointed oval, white. Damaged and illegible.
