Description

Gift with warranty from Elizabet le Noreis and Elena her daughter to Stephen de Berdingber', of one part of their messuage in Kingeshulle and three acres of land with appurtenances lying in the fields of the same; namely, in the little field half an acre on Le Stanilont next the Abbey of Stonle, half an acre on Portebrugge (?) next Richard Nich', in Le Wodefelt half an acre at Le Gotereslont next land of the Abbot of Stonley, half an acre at Foxenhul' next the land of Richard Nich', in Le Brocfelt half an acre on le Scorte forlong next land of Richard Nich', and half an acre at Le Brodehom next land of [Richard] Nich'; to hold the same according to the custom of the manor of Stonle, rendering annually to the grantors two pence. Witnesses: John de Finham, Robert de Wenrich', Thomas de Finham, Roger de Hulle, Leodegar of the same and others. Tag, seal missing.
