Bargain and sale by Charles Raynsford, Ullenhall, Warks., gent. to Thomas Taylor, Wincote [in Clifford Chambers], Glos., yeoman, of i) two messuages and one cottage in Clifford Chambers, Glos., with 2 yard lands lying in the common fields of Clifford and 22 ridges, part of the demesne in the common fields, all which are in the tenure of Richard Rede. ii) the Brook Meadow iii) one other messuage in Clifford with 1/2 yard land in occupation Henry Wylkes. Reciting that premises form part of manor of Clifford Chambers which Charles Raynsford lately purchased of the Queen and holds by letters patent dated 11 May 1562. Taylor to hold premises in tail male with remainder to Robert Taylor and heirs male and contingent remainder to female heirs of Thomas and Robert or nominees of Thomas and Robert.
