Description

Gift from Thomas de Wapenbur' to Alard dean of Withibroc, for homage and service, of a virgate of land with a messuage in the vill of Streton', to provide for `unam de filiabus suis quam voluerit'; that virgate, namely, which Godfrey held; to hold to the said Alard, his assigns and heirs of the said Thomas and his heirs, rendering annually a pair of white gloves at Easter for all service except the forensic service of the king, and except for 2 shillings which were assigned to Robert de Halenford'. Witnesses: William de Fardon', Nicholas son of Nicholas of Covintre, William de Grandon', Robert de Helinhale, Thomas de Fardon', Warner de Torp', Henry de Lodbroc, Janechin, Osbert Pachet and Geoffrey, clerks of Greneber Tag, seal lost.
