Gift from Thomas de Wapenbur' to Alard dean of Withibroc, for homage and service, of a virgate of land with a messuage in the vill of Streton', to provide for `unam de filiabus suis quam voluerit'; that virgate, namely, which Godfrey held; to hold to the said Alard, his assigns and heirs of the said Thomas and his heirs, rendering annually a pair of white gloves at Easter for all service except the forensic service of the king, and except for 2 shillings which were assigned to Robert de Halenford'.
