Letter from Richard Hyckman to Arthur Gregory, informing him that he has paid 5 pounds to Mr. Pennyfather, Mr. Henry Ofleye's man, in respect of the relief for half a knight's fee. Dated at Clarcktonwell [Clerkenwell]. Memorandum by Arthur Gregory that two reliefs, one on the death of Henry earl of Derby, and the other on the death of Ferdinand, earl of Derby, `dewe to me and found by thomage of my mannor' were paid by the `said recevor' of the earl of Darby to his (Arthur's) cousin John Penefather `to my use'.
