Notification from Simon Chamber of Bynley, gent., that, whereas in 5 Charles I [1629-30] he took to the Petty Bag Office in Chancery Lane a statue staple dated 29 May, 24 Elizabeth [1582] from Arthur Gregory to George Marbury in 500 marks, now, in consideration of 290 pounds paid to him by John Gregory, esq., he has delivered up to the said John Gregory the defeasance made upon the said statute, and gives authorisation to whom it may concern to deliver up the said statute to the said John Gregory.
