Description

Gift with warranty from Robert Osbern of Hulle in the parish of Stonleye to William Dalyan of Helenhul, of one acre of land in the field of Hulle, of which one half acre lies on le Wodefeld in a certain ploughland called le Ruyecroft between the land which Alan de Hulle once held and the land which Geoffrey de Balscote held, extending in length from Caldewelle to Wodeyate; and the other lies on le Brocfeld at le Butteschuyrne between the land of Roger de Fynham and the land of Richard Helys, extending in length from Lowe to Brocfurlong; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee, rendering annually at Easter one half penny; and for this the said William gives one mark. Witnesses: Alexander de Cruylefeld, Henry de la More of Canneleye, Roger his son, Richard de Daddeleye, William Person, Thomas de Fynham, John Henry of Hulle, Richard Fortwyne of the same, Henry Aleyn of the same, and others.
