Description

A bundle of one hundred and forty-five receipts issued to Loveisgod Gregory or his representatives for payments of tax imposed for the various royal aids and subsidies between 1659 and 1683. The receipts are arranged in one chronological sequence regardless of the lands upon which the taxes were charged. Where specified, Kingshill in Stoneleigh appears most frequently, but there are also receipts mentioning Brinklow, Corley and Stivichall.
