Copy letter, dated at Lincoln, from Arthur Gregory to [A. Wall] acknowledging the receipt of his letter and explaining that there was no record of the exchange of the lands in question because Dr. Towers, master of Christ's College at the time of the Inclosure, had insisted that a re-phrasing of the lease would be sufficient: `you knew him, he was not to be put out of his way'.
