Description

Lease from Richard Lowe, esq., and Eleanor his wife to William Mitton', esq.; reciting that David Gyttons holds at farm all the messuages, buildings, lands, tenements, pastures and rents, etc. of the said Richard in Salop' and within the liberties of the same, and in Rodyngton', except the messuage in Salop' which William Tylor now holds, by an indenture of lease dated 4 October, 13 Edward IV [1473], for a term of 30 years, paying annually 5 marks (2 terms); which rent therefore the said Richard and Eleanor grant to the said William to hold from the feast of the Annunciation last, for a term of 12 years. Witnesses: Richard Eyton', warden of the College of St. Bartholomew of Tonge, Humphrey Swynerton', esq., Richard Wantenore and many others. Dated: 14 May, 15 Edward IV Tag and seal lost.
