Description

Gift with warranty from William son of Peter Jordan of Alspath' to Stephen de Cleybrock and Alice his wife of the same of a croft of arable land with the wood adjoining, lying in breadth between the land of William le Palmer' of Allesleye and the land of William Walyewe, and in length bounded by hedges and ditches; to hold to the said Stephen and Alice of the chief lord of the fee; and for this Stephen given 5 marks.

Witnesses: Gerard de Alspath', William Rydyng of the same, Richard Hynoth', William de Kenewaldeshey, John Wyt, William Bernard, William de Sutton' and others.
Dated at Alspath', Wednesday next after the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 9 Edward II.
