Description

Two drafts of a bill of complaint from Edmund Gregory that, although the Corporation of Coventrie had unlawfully brought a suit against him in the court of Star Chamber, which had been dismissed, yet they were still doing all they could to ruin him, and were refusing to pay costs both to him and to his brother Arthur, amounting in Edmund's case to 20 nobles and in Arthur's to over 100 marks. Endorsed: a) Gregoryes bill of costes in the Starre Chamber Written by Edmund Gregory.
