Description

Certified copy of a declaration by George Leonard Jenyns of Bodsham Park, co. Cambridge, clerk, and Francis Gregory of Stivichall, esq., that a mortgage of even date made to them by Richard Oakley, late of Offley, co. Herts., and now of Harpenden, co. Herts., gent., and John Isaac House of the Grove Farm in the parish of Whethampsted, co. Herts., gent., to secure 5000 pounds at interest, was made only in trust to pay the interest therefrom to Margaret Wade of Saint Albans, co. Herts., widow, for life and, subject to this life interest, that the said capital sum of 5000 pounds and interest should belong to Rev. William Serocold Wade of Saint Albans, clerk. Certified as a true copy by Margaret Wade and William Serocold Wade, in the presence of James Frederick Ireland, on 25 August 1826.
