Statute merchant roll of recognizances of debt from November to October 8-9 Elizabeth, made before William Smalewood, mayor, and Thomas Gregorie, clerk. Headed `Pars Clerici'. The last enrolment on 20 October records that Arthur Gregory of Coventr', gent., was bound to John Gregory of Manchester, co. Lancs., esq., Edmund Gregory and Jeremy Gregory, sons of Thomas Gregory of Coventr', gent., in 1000 pounds. Notes by Arthur Gregory on this bond and issues arising from it according to the will of Thomas Gregory.
