Description

Conveyance from John Bullar of 11 Kings Bench Walk, Temple, London esq. and William Frederick Beadon of 9 Stratford Place, Oxford Street co. Middx. esq. to Rev. Henry Charles Knight of Leamington clerk, reciting the Indenture of 5 April 1855 DR225/30a], and that they had contracted with him for the sale of certain tithes, in consideration of the sum of £1,000, of all the great and rectorial tithes or rentcharges in lieu on lands in Wootton Wawen parish specified in the schedule annexed, to hold to the said H.C. Knight and his heirs for ever, subject to the payment of £9.5s.4d. per annum to the vicar of Wootton Wawen and of £6 per annum to the minister of Bearley, the said H.C. Knight declaring against any entitlement of his wife to dower in the same. Schedule showing owners' names, quantities and rentcharges. Signed and sealed by the grantors. Seals: no significant impression. Witness: Francis T. Bircham, solr., Parliament St., Westminster. Endorsed with memorandum of receipt of consideration money, same witness. [Lot no. 16]
