Letter from Henry Clerke to John Wightwicke, esq., or in his absence, to John Gregory of Stichall, on matters concerning Mr. Gregory's cause and an expected visit by Wightwicke to the writer who, with Mr. Dawes lately returned from the west country, could stay until Wednesday and no longer. `I hope you maye come then w supt; suph; conveniencye, wee will then expect you, defferr all till then saveing the meeteing adiorneing of the Comiss[ion]...' Dated at Rugbye. Endorsed: To the worshipfull my honored good frend John Wightwicke esqr. these be delivered in Coventry. In Mr. Wightwicks absence to Mr. Gregory of Stichall.
