Description

Deposition of Rebecca Glover of Upper Fitzroy Street, St. Pancras, widow of Phillipps Glover, stating that he made no profit from his claim to the estate of his cousin, the Duchess of Kingston [the Countess of Bristol], née Elizabeth Chudleigh, died August 1788, but on the contrary lost the sum of £18,000 through the fraudulent activities of his agent, Charles Lewis Buquet de Cocove.
