Draft of an inquisition held at Southam on 9 December, 16 Elizabeth, in the presence of Richard Knightley, knight, Simon Rawley and Arthur Gregory, esqs., on the death of William Wilkes, esq., concerning the manor of Hoddenhull, alias Hodnell, alias Old Hodnell, Ascot, alias Asconicot, Hokes and Radborne, with other property in Whittington and Seint Hellens. Sheet 5 is endorsed with a very rough draft in Arthur Gregory's hand, of an inquisition held at War' on 4 May, 25 Elizabeth [1583] in the presence of Robert Burgoyn, escheator of the king in the county of Warwick on the death of John Bewfoo, esq., concerning the manors of Edmunscote and Mylverton and other property in Newbold Comen, Cobington, Longbridge and Lemington, the manors of Barford, Salford and Kyngham, co. Oxon., the manor and advowson of Wilton [Welton], with appurtenances in Staverton, co. Northants., and property in Moreton Underhill, co. Worcs.
