Samuel Hayward: Slatter, Son and More, solicitors, Stratford-upon-Avon
Description
Memorandum of Agreement between Thomas Taylor, stonemason, and Samuel Hayward that former will be responsible for lean-to stable against latter's wall at back of new Shakespeare Row and not leave it standing more than two years without permission. With further memorandum, 25 March 1839, that Taylor died August 1835 and that William Martin is to pay 1s. p.a. for the stable but to take down if required on 6 months notice.
