Marriage Settlement of Walter Hopkins, Birmingham, Warwick, printer and Anne Maria White, Stratford-upon-Avon, spinster, possessing Richard Martin Bird, Stratford-upon-Avon, wine merchant, as trustee of 2 several sums of £2500 and £250 to which the said Ann White is entitled by virtue of mortgages dated 21 Nov 1879 and 14 July 1882, the first by Philip Henry Wadley upon a house, malthouse and cottages in Bidford, the second upon land at Bidford by Thomas and Sarah Wilcox. In trust to pay the interest annually to the said Anne Maria White during her life for her sole use and after her death if she predecease her husband, to the use of Walter Hopkins absolutely. If she survive her husband then equally between any children of the marriage at 21 or marriage. If no issue and Anne Maria White survive her husband then power of appointment by will and deed and in default of such then to those who would inherit if she had died intestate and unmarried.
