Draft release and conveyance by Richard Gilkes, Charlton, Northants., gent., Michael Pettipher, Sibford, gent., (trustees and executors of the will of Thomas Edden, late of Sibford, gent., deceased) with the consent of John Gilkes, Sibford, gent. and Jane his wife, Sarah Gibbs, Fringford, Oxon., widow of Richard, gent., and John Gibbs, Fringford, Oxon., and Elizabeth his wife (Jane, Sarah and Elizabeth being daughters and co-heiresses of Thomas Edden) to William Gillett of Sibford, gent. In trust for said John Gilkes for £6500 of farm and 84 acres in Sibford, late in occupation Thomas Edden, now John Gilkes. Reciting 20 Jan 1798. Will of Thomas Edden devising real and personal estate to trustees for use of wife Jane for life, then to sell, pay legacies and divide residue among 3 daughters. 29 May 1806. Codicil revoking bequest to daughter Elizabeth and vesting her share of purchase money in trustees to pay interest to her for life, then to husband for life and then principal to children.
