Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Bartlett Mason of Old Stratford, gentleman, to James Kendall of Old Stratford, gentleman, for £200, of a messuage in Old Stratford standing near the Tithe or College barns with a piece of enclosed garden ground planted with cherry trees, and commonly called the Bowling Alley, bounded on the east by the said messuage, on the west by a messuage lately erected by Richard Taylor, and on the south by the orchard late belonging to Sir William Keyt and now to the said James Kendall; all which premises the said Bartlett Mason purchased from Samuel Freeman of Stratford-upon-Avon, innholder, and Mary his wife, and Joseph Twyness of Warwick, baker, and Elizabeth his wife (which the said Mary and Elizabeth were the daughters and co-heiresses of Thomas Burman, late of Old Stratford).
