Bargain and sale from John Perkes of Bearley gent. eldest son and heir of Thomas Perkes of Bearley gent. deceased to William Shakle of Stratford-upon-Avon malster of a messuage, malting rooms etc. in Henley Street, formerly in the occupation of Thomas Cale, William Wright gent. and then of the said William Shakle, also 2 tenements to the E. of the said messuage, formerly in the occupation of -- Yeates widow and Sarah and Ann Smith spinsters and then of Thomas Yeates and Mary Moor, the said 2 tenements having a messuage belonging to the Stratford-upon-Avon Corporation on the east side, formerly in the occupation of George Southerne, but then divided into several tenements. The said messuage was purchased by Thomas Perkes from Samuel Case of Warwick apothecary and Elizabeth his wife, and the two tenements were also purchased by the said Thomas Perkes from the said Samuel and Elizabeth Case and Thomas Bott of Stratford-upon-Avon apothecary and Elizabeth his wife. Consideration: £92 2s.
