Probate of the will of Richard Lord of Stratford-upon-Avon, cordwainer, dated 23 April 1783, bequeathing all his real estate, in Stratford-upon-Avon and Welford, and all his personal estate to his son, John Lord of Stratford-upon-Avon, saddlers' ironmonger; but should he die before coming of age, the estates to be divided between: - his daughter-in-law, Phoebe Bell - his son-in-law, Ephraim Bell of London, watchmaker - his brother, John Lord - Thomas Ashford of Stratford-upon-Avon, saddlers' ironmonger, Sarah his wife, and Elizabeth Davenport Ashford, their daughter.
