Lease/release by John Jagger of Birmingham, yeoman eldest son and heir of Jabez Jagger, who died intestate so far as related to his real estate, and Martha his wife to Thomas Sanders of Stratford upon Avon, tanner, of the 7 cottages with the gardens behind on the N. or N.W. side of Windsor Street, otherwise Hell Lane [Henley Lane/Windsor Street], in the several occupations of John Bolter, Richard Handy, Robert Nicolls, William West, Edward Clarke, William Davis and William Barnacle and of the greater part of a close at the back of the said cottages extending upwards beside a private road or footway from Hell Lane towards the One Elm to a close or garden late belonging to Messrs. Ashford and Lord but now of Robert Hobbes in the occupation of William Such, gardener, and bounded on the other side by gardens and premises belonging to Ann Jagger, widow of Jabez Jagger, and to the said Thomas Sanders, all which were devised by the will of Jonas Burborough dated 13 June 1791 to Anthony Burborough [DR192/18]; consideration, £108.
