Attested copies dated 15 April 1778 of a mortgage by way of lease/release, dated 23/24 June 1768, by Thomas Collins to Sarah Pitt the younger of Stratford upon Avon, spinster, of 2 messuages, one being divided into 2 tenements, and malthouse belonging with a piece of ground whereon another malthouse lately stood in Moor Town's End or Greenhill Street, Stratford upon Avon, late in the tenure of Richard Grimmett and now in the several occupations of the said Thomas Collins, John Roberts, John Phillips and William Hancox, and also of the 7 cottages in Henley Lane otherwise Windsor Street and of Giles's Close now used for making bricks; consideration, £200 with interest.
