Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Richard Allen of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., surviving trustee of a conveyance of 7 and 8 June 1749 (DR535/26-7) to Charles Ingram, mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Thomas Sheldon, grocer, John Lord, gent., and Samuel Jarvis, mercer, aldermen of the same, and William Tompkins, mercer, and John Edwards, cooper, capital burgesses of the same, of a messuage in Church Street, late in the tenure of the Reverend William Loggin, since of ---- Venour, widow, and now of Richard Baker, gent., bounded by a messuage belonging to the Mayor and Corporation late in the tenure of Nathaniel Canning, gent., and now of ------, on the east and a messuage late of Margaret Smith and now of Thomas Cresswell, gent., on the west; to hold to the uses contained in the will of Thomas Lucas (DR535/20).
