Description

Settlement on the marriage of William Dunn of Kenilworth, yeoman, and Mary Price of the same, widow, being a conveyance by lease and release from William Dunn and Mary Price to Thomas Walford of Wolverton, gent., of a messuage in Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, bought of Samuel Ryland and Mary his wife, late in the tenure of William Izod, glazier, and now of John Holmes, and a half yardland in the open fields of Harbury, late in the tenure of William Fawkes, since of John Turvill and now of John Palmer (more fully described in indentures of 15 May 1742 between John Turvill of Harbury, yeoman, and the said Mary Price); to hold the same to the following uses, viz: the house in Sheep Street to the use of William Dunn for life, with remainder to the said Mary Price, and then to their issue, and the lands in Harbury as security, in the first instance, for the payment to Hannah Price, daughter of the said Mary Price, of two sums of £30 on her attaining the ages of 21 and 22, and thereafter to the use of William Dunn etc.
