Mortgage from Richard Bennett of Stratford-upon-Avon, baker, devisee under the will of Henry Bennett, baker, his late father, to Mary Newland of Stratford-upon-Avon, spinster (reciting DR603/33 and the death of Henry Bennett on 16 August 1834) of two messuages in Sheep Street in the tenures of Hugh Cloves, pump-maker and [James] Boardman, hatter, the eastern messuage (then occupied by Henry Greves) having been purchased by Henry Bennett of Henry Greves and the western messuage (then occupied by John Checketts) having been purchased by Henry Bennett of John Greves; and also of the reversion, on the death of his mother, Mary Bennett, of six cottages behind the same built by Henry Greves in the tenures of Sarah Cowley, --- White, Joseph Sharlett, --- Smith, --- Smith and Leonard Smith; to secure £250.
