Conveyance by lease and release from William Paine the elder of Stratford-upon-Avon, stonemason, and his trustee (John Barnhurst of the same, gent.) to Henry Greves of Stratford-upon-Avon, timber merchant, and his trustee (Thomas Kemp of the same, gardener) for £550 (reciting DR603/22) of two messuages, lately one, formerly in the tenure of William Paine, since of James Barran and now of Henry Greves and Thomas Kemp, bounded as follows: Sheep Street on the north; a messuage of Samuel Manison of Stratford-upon-Avon in the tenure of Stephen Adkins, blacksmith, a garden of a house belonging to the poor of Clifford Chambers, in the occupation of --- Grimes, the garden of the Green Dragon Inn, belonging to and in the occupation of Edward Paine and the old Bowling Green belonging to the Corporation of Stratford in the tenure of Robert Hobbes on the east; on the south by garden ground belonging to William Morris, and on the west by a messuage of Henry Richardson in the tenure of William Alcock, and the garden of the Shakespeare Inn belonging to William Bolton.
