Copy will of Henry Bennett of Stratford-upon-Avon, baker, bequeathing to his wife, Mary Bennett, his six cottages in Sheep Street (at the south west side of the yard belonging to two messuages heretofore Greves's) in the tenure of ---- Jackson, --- White, Thomas Hartwell, Henry Hughes, Hannah Nason and John Penn, to hold for life with remainder to his only son, Richard Bennett; and to his son, Richard Bennett, two messuages in Sheep Street in the tenures of Thomas Smith, painter, and Samuel Jordan, wheelwright, and two messuages, heretofore Manton's, in Rother Street, in the tenures of himself and Mr. Baylis. Pecuniary bequests to John Cox of Tutbury near Burton-on-Trent, and his brother Thomas Cox, now a pensioner residing by the Waterside at Stratford-upon-Avon. Codicil: 13 September 1830.
