Bundle of papers, mainly personal letters, to Miss Ann Lambert, of Small Heath, Birmingham in 1854, of St John's Wood, London in 1858, of Birmingham in 1860-1, of Houndshill House, Alderminster, 1862-73 [where she was cook for the Gibbins family], and of West Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, 1873-1881. Many are from her sister, Mary Batson and brother-in-law, W. Batson, who emigrated to Geelong, Victoria, Australia, in 1849 or shortly afterwards. Also various 'In Memoriam' cards, 1864-1880, for friends and relatives, including Jeffrey Bevington Lowe (1864), Joseph Gibbins (1870) and Susanna Lowe (1873), and lines ' On the death of a beloved father ' by 'A.L.'
