Draft case for the Opinion of Counsel as to best means for John Higgins, eldest son of John Higgins and Hannah Townsend, to make himself sole owner in fee simple of the estates subject to the marriage settlement, 2 September 1735, of his parents which his father John Higgins the elder, devised by will, 20 November 1778 to the said John the younger, subject to the payment of £400 each legacy to his younger children Edward Townsend Higgins, Hannah Higgins and Sarah Higgins. John the younger has one son, Holland Higgins, soon to be of age.
