Description

A surrender by Thomas Louth, a customary tenant of the manor of Easton near Wolland (?) to the Lord of the manor of one acre of meadow in Le Middle Meadowes in Easton between the meadow of John Bringhurst on the west and William Burton on the east, one acre of land abutting on east by dyke, another acre abutting on Cowr---, Edward Burton's land lying south, half an acre abutting into Coplines gate, Andrew Collins' land lying north, half an acre abutting into Clotty Leyes, James Dewell's land lying north, one acre of Leyes on Clotty Leyes, Thomas Moore's land lying north, half an acre abutting into Middle Gate, John Bringhurst's land lying west, half an acre abutting on Holthedge, John Burton's land lying north, to the use of Ferdinando Iliffe and his heirs for ever subject to a proviso that if the said Thomas Louth should pay £31 to Ferdinando Iliffe before 24 February 1660 the said surrender should be void.
