Description
Rev. Richard Jago, Vicar of Snitterfield, to William Hunt, of Stratford, enclosing pieces in prose and verse on the latter's garden and 'the relation which it bears to the immortal Shakespear'. Snitterfield, 30 June 1778. Followed by another copy of the verses, with a note that they were 'to be inscribed on a Tablet (then belonging to Mr. William Hunt, but now placed in Shakspear's garden) preserved from the ruins of New Place'. Folios 36-38.
