Note: Upon the death of his cousin, Margaret Peyto, John Verney, son of Hon. John, inherited the Chesterton estates and, under the terms of her will, took the additional name of Peyto. He inherited as Lord Willoughby de Broke in 1752 upon the death of his uncle, Richard.
