Burton Dasset: early deeds, Burton Dasset (Magna Derset), a grant

Description

Grant by John Lye, lord of Kingston to Richard Chapman of Burton Dasset (Magnaderset) and Emma (Emayne) his wife, for their lives and the life of the longer liver, of one messuage and quarter virgate of arable land, with appurtenant meadow and pasture, which grantor holds by gift and feoffment of Richard son of Robert Warner, in the town and fields of Burton Dasset.

Paying annually therefore three shillings and fourpence equally at two usual terms viz: Michaelmas and Lady Day, with heriot after death of either and service due to chief lord of fee.
