Description
Feoffment from John Wythe of Eye to Thomas Hawkyn', Roger Barkere and Robert Chapell' of the same of a messuage and garden in the borough of Eye between a messuage late of Henry God and a messuage of John Porter on the north and a messuage of John Barkere taylour late John Reydon' jun. on the south, and abutting east and west as in DR220/1, which he late had, with William Huberd of Eye then deceased and Thomas Torald and the said Robert Chapell', which last two had released him their interest by deed, by gift of Margaret late wife of Robert Turnour of Eye, John Fysk and Robert Saxcy, to hold of the chief lords of the fee for services due and accustomed. Witnesses: William Rede, one of the bailiffs of the said borough, John Botyldes, John Cook jun., Robert Damport, Robert Taylour and others. Dated at Eye, 1 December 14 Edward IV. Seal on tag, broken.
