Description

Feoffment from John Cheveler' of Thrandeston' to Margaret Stevenson' widow, William Aldham of Brome [Sf.] and William Lee of Eye of a messuage and garden in Eye between a messuage late Thomas Pepper [Pepyr], on the north and a messuage then garden in the occupation of Edward Saham on the south, and abutting east on the highway and west on the pasture of Edward Sulyard esq. which he had with John Stevenson' and Robert Smyth of Eye then deceased by feoffment of Agnes Hiron '[Heiron] and John Mason by their deed dated 12 January 13 Henry VII, to hold to the said Margaret, William and William to the use of the said Margaret of the chief lords of the fee for services due and accustomed. Dated at Eye, 10 June 6 Henry VIII. Endorsed with memorandum of livery of seisin on the same day. Witnesses: Robert de Hetyngham [ ] then bailiff, John Brook'. Thomas Mason', Edward Same, John Porter, Ralph Robson' and others. Seal on tag, broken.
