Description

Conveyance from John Paul Richards of Maldon in the colony of Victoria upholsterer and Thomas Garrat of the same cattle-dealer (trustees of the will of Henry Butler late of the same butcher) and Bridget Butler of the same, widow of the said Henry Butler, to Arthur Charles Kingzett of Chipping Campden saddler, reciting nos. 4,6 and 7, and that, whereas the said Henry Butler had been described in the indenture of 10 November 1870 (no. 4) as having died intestate, it has been discovered that he had made a will, recited (no. 1), for the benefit of his widow and daughter: it is now witnessed that, for £29 6s 5d (being with interest a ninth share in the proceeds from the sale of 10 November 1870 to which the said Bridget was entitled under her husband's will) previously paid to the said John Richards and Thomas Garrat by Richard Stanley and Esther his wife, the administratrix of the estate of Levi Butler, and which sum had previously been invested in the Old Worcester Bank in their name in trust for the heir or devisee of the said Henry Butler, the said John Richards and Thomas Garrat convey to the said Arthur Kingzett a ninth share in the premises described in no. 4, subject to redemption by Charles Gould as specified in no. 7.
