Assignment by lease and release from John Bickerstaff of Idlicote farmer, with the consent of Anthony Parker of Upper Ettington [Eatington], yeoman, and Sarah his wife, to Thomas Corbet Southam of Quinton, co. Gloucs., gent. (reciting nos. 11-12 and an award dated 29 July 1797 whereby, under an Act of Parliament of 35 George III for enclosing the common fields in the hamlets of Upper Ettington [Eatington] and Fulready in the parish of Lower Ettington [Eatington], the said Anthony Parker was awarded two plots of land containing in all 10 acres 1 rood 18 perches in lieu of three quarters of one yardland), for £174, of a messuage and the two said plots of land in Upper Ettington [Eatington]. Further charge from Anthony Parker to Thomas Southam to secure £46. Signed and sealed by John Bickerstaff and Anthony and Sarah Parker. Witness: W. James, junior. Bond to peform covenants enclosed.
