Letter from the Bailiff and Aldermen of Stratford to Sir Clement Throckmorton, in answer to ER1/1/79, stating that Greene and Collyns are both in London and the matter must rest till their return; [October 1617]. Draft, with an alternative draft on the back, saying they have no wish to debar Lucas from pleading in their Court and are ready if he make demands, to grant him `our common seale'. Folio 101.
