Covenant to levy a Fine: Chapel Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon

Description

Covenant by William Lord of London, late of Stratford-upon-Avon, baker, and Mary his wife to levy a fine together with John Lacy senior of Stratford, maltster and John Lacy junior, his son and heir, baker, by Anne, his wife, to Joseph Smith of Stratford, maltster, and William Page of Stratford, malt-maker of (amongst other lands, etc.) a messuage, bakehouse, etc. in Stratford in Walker Street alias Chappell Lane, as in ER3/65, purchased by William Page by indentures of Lease and Release 29 and 30 September 1712; such fine to enure to the only use of the said William Page. Witnesses: John Lord, Jo. Phipps and Joseph Hunt.
