Conveyance by lease and release from Thomas Cresswell, late of Stratford-upon-Avon and now of Newland, co. Worcs., gentleman, and his mortgagee, Thomas Pinks [Pinkes] of [Great] Barr, co. Staffs., gentleman, to Richard Newland and Abraham Newland, both of Stratford-upon-Avon, saddlers, (reciting nos. 4, 6-8) for £550 paid to the said Thomas Pinks [Pinkes], of a messuage in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, late in the tenure of Edward Field, draper, but now of James Ward, stationer, bounded on the south by a messuage of the Corporation, and on the north by a messuage late belonging to Robert Wilkins and now to William Canning, draper; also an assignment from the said Thomas Pinks [Pinkes] to William Tibbits of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, of a term of 1000 years created by a mortgage of 14 October 1817 (no. 6), to hold in trust for Abraham and Richard Newland to attend the freehold and inheritance.
