Copy probate of the will of John Timbrell [Timbrill], of Bretforton, co. Worcs., esquire, with the following bequests: i) to his eldest son, Thomas Timbrell [Timbrill] his house wherein he now lives with other lands and four cottages in Bretforton, a farm in Honington, and a farm and two cottages in Wellesbourne; subject to an annuity payable to Mary Timbrell [Timbrill],the testator's daughter ii) to his wife, Susannah, an estate in Bretforton called the Lower Living for life, with remainder to his son, Edward Timbrell [Timbrill] iii) to his son, Edward Timbrell [Timbrill], four cottages in Bretforton, three houses in Broadway, co. Worcs., his farm and manor of Dormston, co. Worcs., and two houses in Cale Street, Evesham, co. Worcs. iv) To his son Thomas Timbrell [Timbrill], his house in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, known by the sign of the Kings Arms and Angel, now in the tenure of William Judd, a messuage in Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon in the occupation of Mrs. Jacocks, and lands in Pebworth, co. Glos., together with a chief rent from an estate in Tredington. Appointment of his son Thomas Timbrell [Timbrill] as executor. Codicil, dated 23 April 1768, bequeathing to his son Thomas Timbrell [Timbrill], two additional estates in Bretforton in lieu if his property in Wellesbourne which he had since sold.
