Lease from William Reader of Bedworth, woolstapler, and Susannah his wife (late Susannah Hemings, only child of Joseph Hemings, late of Stratford-upon-Avon, stone-cutter, himself the heir of Samuel Hemings late of the same, mason) to Mary Hemings of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow of the said Samuel Hemings, in return for a release of her dower rights in property in Greenhill Street and Meer Street, of a messuage (formerly called a moiety of a messuage) in Meer Street, late in the tenure of John Barker and now of Mary Hemings, to hold for her life at a peppercorn rent.
