Feoffment with warranty from John Docker of Ridinges Ende in the parish of Allesley, husbandman, and Margaret his wife (daughter and heiress of John Guphill late of Allesley, deceased) to Christopher Waid of Coventr', mercer, of a messuage called Olde Sponers situate in Ridinges Ende in the parish of Allesley in the occupation of the said John and Margaret; also four crofts of arable land adjacent to the said messuage together with all their other lands in the lordship of Allesley; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Dated 26 January, 30 Henry VIII (26 Jan 1538/9. Seals on divided tag: i) missing; ii) red. The letters I H, with a true-lovers knot between. Endorsed: i) with memorandum of delivery of seisin in the presence of William Holbache, John Hill, John Flynt, Roger Mott, Thomas Ward, Nicholas Sparkes, Robert West, Thomas Gregorie and others. ii) Allesley: Sponers [AG]
